Attack of the killer chickens
Not really a cheat, but something to do. If you attack a chicken about 30 times then their family starts to fly in to get their revenge. Be warned you can get pecked to death.
Secret Stash
In the south-west part of Kakariko Village, there's a small hut with no doors and looks like you can't get inside. However if you use a bomb in the middle of the wall your facing, this will blow open an entrance. Go inside to stock up on bombs, arrows and rupees.
Magic refill
Use the ice rod to freeze an enemy, then use the magic hammer on it to smash it to pieces. Tada! The result is a magic jar to refill your magic meter.
The running man
In Kakariko Village, there's a man that runs away from you really fast whenever you try to get close to him. When you get the Pegasus shoes, then chase after him and he will give you a handy tip! The tip is if you run into a tree you can sumtimes get goodies like rupees, hearts, apples and sometimes faires. But you can also get bees :(
Red Rupee
South of your house is a swampy grassy place, and there's a small structure there (entrance to Swamp Place). Go inside. Push aside the blocks and go on to the next room. Pull the right switch to release the water, then go outside. There's a fish out of water! Do the honorable thing: Pick up the fish, go one screen up and throw him back into the deep water. He'll give you a red rupee as a reward.
Fairy Trick
When you see one of those red things that spin around the room in most dungeons, sprinkle some magic powder on it to get a fairy.
Carry more bombs and arrows
Go into the cave on the island in the middle of Lake Hylia, and then go right up to the fountain. It will then ask you if you want to throw some money in. When you finally throw 100 rupees in, a fairy will appear and will other you the chance to upgrade the capacity of your bomb and arrow supply. Arrow capacity can be increased from 30 to 70 and the bomb capacity can be increased form 10 to 50. The total cost of upgrades is well over 1000 rupees!
