The Adventure of Link takes place just a few years after its predecessor, The Legend of Zelda. When the Royal Family crest suddenly appears on his hand, Link is presented with the challenge of breaking a sleeping spell on an ancient princess, the first ever to be named Zelda. Only the Triforce of Courage, protected by eight guardians scattered throughout Hyrule, can reawaken the princess.
