50 hours? I think not.

Posted December 4

Well, well, well.
I was promised 50 hours from Twilight Princess and I am not getting it...
I have just completed the second last temple and I am just above 28 hours into the game. That is also including the time I left it on for 30 mins to eat. I personally I am very disappointed. I am not sure if it's just because I have played Ocarina of Time too much or why but this game is barely a challenge. I have only gotten stuck 2-3 maybe 4 times in the game and these periods only lasted less than 30 minutes.
Don't get me wrong I probably won't complete the entire game ( heart pieces, bugs ect.) in under 50 hours but unless the last temple and the "Ganons Temple" takes 20 hours I will have this game done in under 35.
Here may be why

The boss battles... Way to easy, Armogohma is probably the most pitaful boss I have ever seen in any game. Great graphics but way to easy to defeat. 3 hits once again and then you think its over... Nope here eye starts running around and all it takes is 3 shots with a arrow and its over. Many of the boss fights if I was not careless could probably be defeated without being hurt. I find this rather pathetic. And seeing as there is a fairy before every boss you really need to try and get your self killed to use it.

The puzzles... Again very simplistic and very similar to that of past games. However they do present new challenges and are fun to work out.
I will have more of this in my review of the game which I hope to have done by the end of December.
